My cousin was taken from us after a year of fighting the Big-C. Sad, but family and friends that he had left must continue to move on. Nonetheless, we will never ever forget him.
I still remember his Ogie Alcasid’s smile (which he used to charm women – a lot of women,actually.. hehehe.. coz he really look like Ogie). He’s also very talented.. he painted our whole house and turned the wall into a piece of art! I remember when he said that I have a potential talent when he saw my sketches and drawings. I only responded with a humble smile (but a comment from such an artist really means a lot to me!). He can also play drums and guitar very well. That’s why we played and sang most of his favorites during his wake (songs from Eagles to Scorpions).. it’s crazy to sing these songs in a sad note.
So as to drain our sadness, not only my brother and my cousins drained it with rhum, but we also drained it through the pool.. hehehe.. I’m sure, he’ll be happy to see us like this..
