When I saw this google doodle yesterday, I was like.. is that the “missing link”? And so I clicked and clicked and clicked all the links referring to that…. What the Fact?! Is this really for real?

Rewind.. I was on college when my Thermodynamics professor woke me up from daydreaming in his class when he said that Time Travel is possible. Hmmm, I have to listen to this, this better be good.. He said that you could time travel through Black Holes using a machine that runs at a speed of light.

Yeah, right.. as if!

But that is somehow true based on Einstein’s Law of Relativity formula.

How? Don’t ask me how.. It’s too geeky for me and too much nosebleed! But if you have a wild imagination you can check it in here.

Now, back to the future… The google doodle pertains to the LHC (Large Hadron Collider).. rather, The Big Bang Theory Machine. I first heard it from Discovery Channel which of course too geeky for me to understand. But basically, their trying to replicate the Big Bang Theory through a machine built in a circular tunnel underground that spans across Switzerland and France. They’re going to let Protons circulate the tunnel (clockwise and counter clockwise) at almost the speed of light. And when they collide.. poof! It became koko crunch! Hehehe.

The big bang will create antimatter (Dan Brown mentioned this on his novel, Angels & Demons — he’s really brilliant and done his research very well). Some says that the big bang may create black holes which may conquer the entire planet Earth.. (or maybe we can now time travel!). However, scientist has confirmed that microscopic black holes will indeed be formed but it will only appear for a fraction of a second.

Furthermore, scientists hope that new sub-atomic particle will emerge and may answer to the missing link to the laws of physics.. and, which will make your exclamation to your science fascination turns from What the Fiction?! to What the Fact?!
